Hello! I'm Ali. I am the founder of DIY Hair Extensions. Welcome to our website and your interest in learning more about us. Here, you'll find more about how I got started and why I am so passionate about DIY hair extensions at home.
A little more about my background here, I moved to the United States from Eastern Europe nine years ago. After finishing cosmetology school at Cheeks Beauty Academy in Wyoming and getting my hairstylist license, I discovered my passion for hair extensions. I trained extensively in Eastern Europe to master the craft of handcrafting extensions.

our methods
For our installation method, we use double-sided weft tape that’s placed between layers of hair, not sandwiched. This unique attachment is strong due to the high-quality tape, with the hair holding the weft securely from both sides for a strong hold. The weight of the extensions is distributed evenly, making them lightweight and comfortable to wear. And since they aren’t sandwiched, they’re easier to remove as well. Each kit includes all the tools and instructions you need for removal and adjustment in the comfort of your own home.
