Wash your hair, make a clean parting and install double sided tape in between your hair. The kit includes everything you need for the first installation and an adjustment, including step by step instructions.

#1 DIY Hair Extensions Home Kit includes everything you need for the first installation and a couple of adjustments. The kit includes 4-6 double sided tapes, remover, 2 clips, a tail comb, extra tape for adjustment, and step by step instructions.

When you start to feel it’s time for an adjustment, use an oil based or alcohol based remover to remove the tape. Apply the remover from both sides of the tape by applying on top and underneath the tape. Wait for a minute and start slowly separating your hair from the tape. Brush your hair after you take off the tape.

We offer different kits for different hair thicknesses. If your hair is longer than 5 inches, you definitely can wear DIY Hair Extensions.

Yes! Just be sure to use DIY Hair Extensions special tape to re-install. Our special tape leaves less residue in your hair.

If you follow all of the maintenance recommendations, DIY Hair Extensions will last up to 4 weeks. We also recommend using our special tape which leaves less residue and provides a strong hold between your hair and the extensions.

Please note that due to holiday season, shipping may take longer than usual.  Shipping time depends on your location. Also, we ask for signatures for orders over $200 to ensure that you have received your package accordingly.

Yes, we offer free shipping on domestic US orders $50 or more.

Yes we do ship internationally. For international orders, please be aware that customs fees, taxes, and import duties may apply, and these are the responsibility of the customer.

Due to hygiene rules, regulations and safety policies, returns or refunds for hair that has been taped, installed, washed, colored, cut, chemically treated or altered in any way ARE NOT accepted. 

No exceptions will be made. Please inspect your order before installing and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Tape and remover NOT eligible for returns or exchanges. 

DIY Hair Extensions is not responsible for the correct color match, so please understand prior to purchasing hair that you assume full responsibility in choosing your color. Our responsibility is to deliver the color(s) ordered by you. When purchasing our products, you are accepting these terms:

To return or exchange extensions for a different color: YOU MUST SEND US EXTENSIONS BACK WITHIN 15 DAYS OF DELIVERY. If it is past 15 days you may not make an exchange or receive a refund.

The buyer is responsible for shipping the item back to DIY Hair Extensions within 15 days from delivery date. All shipping will be paid by the buyer.

Unless the product is shipped incorrectly, you are responsible for shipping charges to and from
DIY Hair Extensions, as well as a 10% restocking fee.

A refund will be issued to your original payment method after your return has been approved.  We do not charge a 10% restocking fee to exchange an item. The 10% restocking fee applies only if you are returning any item for a refund. Unless DIY Hair Extensions made a shipping error, shipping is non-refundable. For repairs, customers are responsible for the shipping costs.
